My journey began with a desire to be at peace and establish a sense of calm within myself.  I intuitively knew that my well being depended upon nutritional abundance. Over the past twenty years, I have tried many forms of detoxing, raw-food, cleanses, colonics, greens, fruits, fermentation, food-combining etc. I have walked in all of these shoes many times over. Ultimately, what has worked for me is balance. A balance of body, mind and spirit. There is not one solution or one fix or one thing. We are complex and what I respond to nutritionally may not be for you.  Balance is universal for all that exists on this earth. Balance is what we seek and what we actually need to survive. 

I discovered that what brings me joy is the power of fresh whole foods, rooted in plant-based nutrition. I became certified at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2000 and Plant-based certified in 2015 at The Center For Nutritional Studies founded by Dr. T. Colin Campbell at e-Cornell. I also hold a LEED Green Associate certification in Green Building and Sustainability. I graduated from George Washington University with a BA in Psychology and I'm a ten-time marathoner plus Iron-WO-man. 

I have created a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to helping others thrive in a demanding world. By living an active lifestyle, supporting environmental sustainability, engaging in meditation practice, and self-acceptance, I am able to encourage others to follow a similar path. I believe that to maintain wellbeing, it is important to be mindful of personal health and that of the world we live in.
